Amanda Gale

Flute, voice, piano, Little Roots teacher

Amanda Gale is proud to be a Teaching Artist at 317 Main, sharing her musical expertise with our flute, voice and piano students.

Amanda has an extraordinary passion for teaching. She has been fortunate to study with phenomenal coaches around the world who have all helped her to accomplish her goal of bringing exceptional instruction to music students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

Her knowledge and unique teaching style make her equally adept at working with musicians who want a career in music or simply want to sing or play for pure enjoyment. Whatever goals her students have set for themselves, big or small, Amanda’s fun, focused, and inspired approach helps them to achieve success.

In addition to teaching private lessons at 317 Main, she enjoys teaching master classes and workshops throughout Maine and greater New England and serves as Festival Coordinator for the Maine Acoustic Festival, a statewide student music festival which promotes Traditional and Roots Music styles.

Amanda is a graduate of Bard College and Bard College Conservatory of Music and lives in Freeport with her button accordionist husband and rambunctious toddler.
