The Maine Acoustic Festival is a state-wide music festival dedicated to middle school and high school students who study traditional music in Maine.
Genres include bluegrass, newgrass, old time, Celtic, Franco and Songwriter. Students are selected by audition to participate in an intensive three-day Festival of instruction, workshops, rehearsals, and performances.
The Festival is produced by 317 Main Community Music Center and North Yarmouth Academy.

Auditions for the 2016 MAINE ACOUSTIC FESTIVAL are just around the corner!
Application Deadline: October 30th
Audition dates: Saturday November 14 and Sunday November 16
Genres: bluegrass, Irish, Franco-American, Old Time, Songwriter and a Traditional American Harmony ensemble!
2016 Festival dates: April 1-3, 2016
