The Yarmouth Farmers Market has grown steadily since its relocation to 317 Main in 2015.

“In year three, our goal is to solidify the regular customer base and provide more access to neighbors in need of food assistance,” said YFM Manager Amy Sinclair.

To meet the first goal, the market is introducing a new Seasonal Shopper Punch Card.
For every $100 spent, customers will receive a $5 gift card to spend at the market AND their name will be entered in a drawing to win a $200 gift basket filled with market merchandise. Seasonal Shopper cards will be available at the market, at 317 Main, and at participating businesses around town.

In addition to creating a great shopping experience, the Yarmouth Farmers Market seeks to be a community gathering place. The market’s host organization, 317 Main Community Music Center will once again provide their venue and live acoustic music on the porch throughout the summer. “317 Main is always looking for ways to bring the community together,” said John Williams, 317 Main Executive Director. “By providing a combination of great food, music and ideas, we hope people will want to stay and hang out with us for the afternoon and support the local economy.”

The market is also pleased to expand the Food Voucher Program which was first introduced in 2016. $15 vouchers will be available both at the Yarmouth Food Pantry and at the market information booth to any Yarmouth resident, 18 or older, who is in need of food assistance.
The vouchers are meant to be used as a match, so that a family’s money can go twice as far at the market.

Every dollar spent at the Yarmouth Farmers Market goes directly to Maine farmers, fishermen, entrepeneurs and artists. Thank you for your support!
