Join us on the porch for 317 Main’s Summer Deck Series—a season of outdoor music, good vibes, and community connection in the heart of Yarmouth. Every show is free and open to the public, with music kicking off on the deck and drinks flowing from the Fox & Fiddle bar inside.

About the Band:
True to their name, Front Porch String Band found their rhythm right here on the front porch at 317.

Born out of a shared love for Americana, roots, and bluegrass, this group of longtime musicians met through 317’s ensemble classes and never looked back. Their sound blends old-time favorites with fresh energy and heartfelt harmonies.

The band features a crew of 317 regulars—John Williams (mandolin), who many will recognize as our former Executive Director; Jim Atherton (bass and vocals); Dave Sundelin (guitar and vocals); and Edith Meserve (fiddle and vocals). Their story is a celebration of what 317 is all about: connection, creativity, and community through music.
