Music Therapy

WHAT IS MUSIC THERAPY?

Music therapy is defined as using music to achieve non-musical goals. Music therapy can be used to help individuals develop social, emotional, physical, and cognitive abilities. Music therapists are commonly seen working with individuals with autism, down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, dementia, other aging-related disabilities, and those who have experienced trauma.
