Vacation Week Camps
Discovery
317 Main’s Discovery Camp (Ages 6 - 9) is a great fit for children who already have some experience playing an instrument, as well as beginners who are eager to try new instruments. Campers will play piano, ukulele, fiddle and more as they learn in a welcoming small group setting. In addition to instrument learning, campers will participate in fun workshops, games, and activities led by our exceptional 317 Main Teaching Artists. Children may attend more than one session and will build on the basic skills learned and grow their confidence on these new instruments.
Tuition is $440. A non-refundable $50 deposit is due at time of registration and balance is due by May 15th.
Little Roots
Little Roots Camp (Ages 4 -5/Entering Pre-k and Kindergarten) revolves around the world of children’s folk songs. We will sing, dance, play instruments, and build our own instruments. Our small groups will start the day with our musical “gardening:'' growing our skills by learning songs by ear and keeping a steady beat. After snack and outdoor play, small groups reconvene to learn about a variety of instruments. The final part of our morning will be dedicated to music inspired stations where children can build instruments, create art, listen to music, and more. Friday concludes with an informal concert where children share the music they learned during camp with their families.
Tuition is $235. A non-refundable $50 deposit is due at time of registration and balance is due by May 15.
