Conor Linehan

Originally from Bangor, Maine, Conor Linehan has been playing guitar, performing, composing, and arranging music since the age of 12. In his youth, Conor quickly gravitated towards a variety of pop, rock and folk guitar styles and soon started playing with many professional groups. In his teens, Conor discovered a new passion for jazz and classical music and began to cultivate dreams of becoming a performer and educator. He has spent much of his life in Portland, Maine where he attended the University of Southern Maine School of Music, earning his BM in guitar performance with a concentration in jazz studies. Conor has been an active member of Portland’s music scene playing in various professional music projects as well as leading his own groups. Conor's current main project is the experimental jazz/funk/latin music ensemble, YEAHMAN, which he has led since 2016. He also works as a core member of the indie rock band, Junesevere, as well as the R&B group, Viva and the Reinforcements.
Conor is proud to be an accomplished local music educator having taught a plethora of guitar styles to students ranging from total beginner players to professional level musicians. He also is an experienced teacher of ukulele, bass, mandolin, songwriting, arranging and music theory.
