Dylan was born in New York City and grew up in southern Maine. Inspired by a musician father and encouraged to perform in community theater by his mother, Dylan began studying drums privately at the age of 9. He went on to continue his studies in jazz performance with master drummer Bob Gullotti at UMass Amherst. After leaving UMass Dylan found a niche in the thriving DIY music scene in Boston from 2010-2017, touring all over the US with his bands Hyena and (New England) Patriots. Dylan lives in southern Maine, teaching privately and playing in a number of bands across many genres. He has performed with Clay Camero, Gina Alibrio and the Red Eye Flight Crew, and Forêt Endormie; and currently plays in Pond 1000, (New England) Patriots, Subs, Fog Ave and Initials JR.
