The goal of Digital Music Lab is to create an expressive environment for students to grow and learn about making electronic music. Students will learn how to record audio, record midi and use midi controllers, sampling, basic sound design, and song arrangement. If students have devices such as laptops, tablets, midi controllers, or other sound generating devices they are welcome to bring them to incorporate into the music. While learning about technology a main focus will be on the music creation, aiming to walk away from the class with recorded music they created in the lab. Workshop led by Sean Greer.
