Open to adults and teens 16+. Join members of the Downeasters chorus to learn how to sing 4-part a capella music in the classic barbershop style. During the workshop you will be introduced to this traditional American art form by learning songs and performing them together with members of the chorus. We will begin with a demonstration and some simple song excerpts and culminate with a full song sung in 4 parts. Come and enjoy this rich harmonic experience! The workshop will be followed by a social hour in the 317 Main cafe where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and try a little more informal singing. All are welcome.
