Come celebrate the release of Chris Moore’s new full-length release, titled “Changing Union” with his Maine-based trio, YARD SAUCE!
Don’t miss this special evening of contemporary and traditional acoustic folk music performed by one of the region’s most dynamic ensembles. YARD SAUCE features Chris Moore (mandolins & vocals), Jeff Christmas (guitar & vocals), Mitch Reed (fiddle & vocals). All three band members are also 317 Main Teaching Artists. The evening will also feature some special guests (TBA!).
YARD SAUCE will premiere songs from Chris’ new solo record - including original compositions, co-writes (with Joe K. Walsh and Maine poet Stuart Kestenbaum) and interpretations of traditional Shaker tunes. YARD SAUCE has quickly developed a devoted following for their live shows, which bring to life the group’s eclectic and voracious appetite for stylistic adventure, delivered with emotional authenticity, powerful singing, and instrumental mastery. Audiences can look forward to a smile-inducing range of folk, country, bluegrass, and blues styles spanning the Americas and beyond!
Doors open at 6:30pm, all ages welcome.
