This workshop is for Ages 16 and up. Have you ever wondered about doing vocal music without having to hold or read sheet music? I've got just the right singing experience for you! CircleSinging is a beautiful form of circular singing, (created by Bobby McFerrin), where leaders guide the group to create pieces "in the moment." The pieces in process offer singers an opportunity to sing musical phrases within smaller sections, and learn to create vocal improvisations on top of established "riffs" and rhythms. Circular vocal games are a part of the whole experience in addition to "long toning." Providing a safe and comfortable singing space is a priority. Led by 317 Main TA Kathy Slack.
