Barbara Merson started her dance career in the usual way with ballet, jazz, and tap, but very quickly discovered the joy of combining dance and an exploration of different cultures. She teaches and performs many forms of dance in New England and online. She plays a wide variety of percussion instruments with a number of New England Balkan and Middle Eastern music ensembles.
