We Belong to Each Other – A Summer to Celebrate and Support

“We belong to each other.”

That’s what we said at the House Party this year, and we meant it. In a time that’s tricky and hard, that truth rings louder than ever. 317 Main is more than a music center—it’s a gathering place where people of all ages come together and where music helps us navigate life’s transitions with hope and joy.

We’ve just come through a transformational year at 317 Main. A year of growth, change, and big steps toward the future. Your support helped make that possible. And now, as we turn the corner into a vibrant and full summer, we’re asking you to keep that momentum going. If you believe in what 317 Main makes possible—in connection, joy, and belonging through music—please consider a gift to our Annual Fund. Your support sustains everything we do and ensures this music-filled community continues to thrive in every season.

Summer at 317: Camps, Concerts, Community

Summer is in full swing here at 317 Main, and there’s so much to be a part of. From kid camps and porch concerts to unique collaborations and jam sessions, we’re packing the calendar with opportunities to listen, play, and gather.

Still Need Summer Plans? We’ve Got You.

For most families, summer calendars are already bursting—but just like a beach day rained out, sometimes you need to pivot. If you’re looking for creative, community-centered options for your kids, there’s still very limited availability in our summer camp program. Check out offerings on our website before they fill up.

See You On Front Porch: Our Summer Deck Concert Series

Beginning July 10, we’re bringing live music to the John Williams Front Porch all summer long. These casual, family-friendly concerts feature beloved local acts, backyard bands, duos, and more—free and open to the community! Swing by for cookout inspired bites from Black Tie Catering, relax, and enjoy the music.

July’s Big Weekend

Some weeks are just bigger than others, and it doesn’t get much bigger than the week leading into Yarmouth’s Clam Festival this year. Pregame your lime rickey’s, fried clams, and carnival rides with some of the best cultural arts Maine has to offer.

Heather Masse & Jed Wilson | July 11

Heather Masse (of The Wailin’ Jennys) returns to the 317 stage on Friday, July 11. Heather has consistently won over national audiences with her rich vocals and effortless blend of folk, jazz, and beyond. She'll be joined by the exceptionally talented pianist and composer Jed Wilson, making for a truly special musical homecoming. There's nothing quite like hearing these two incredible artists perform together—don’t miss it!

Hogfish & 317 Main Present: The Regenerative Arts Seed Project | July 14

Then on Monday, July 14, come back to 317 and be the first to see and hear the seeds of new Regenerative Arts works-in-progress by Hogfish 2025 artists-in-residence. During the Hogfish regenerative arts residency, each artist-in-residence is invited to develop the seed of an idea that is regenerative to them personally, their community, and their neck of the woods. At the end of their residency, artists are invited to present a short excerpt of their work-in-progress, on this evening titled the "Regenerative Arts Seed Project". They will share a seed of their idea to the public, followed by a facilitated Q&A with the audience. This is a special, genre-blending, boundary-crossing event you won’t want to miss!

Scandinavian Strings Jam | June 27
We’re launching our first-ever Scandinavian Jam, bringing together players and listeners around Nordic folk music traditions. Award-winning fiddler Betsy Hooper kicks things off, as we welcome intermediate players and above who are new to the traditional Scandinavian playing. The group primarily plays by ear, but it is not required and sheet music will be provided. Join us (in room 109) to play along or just to listen!
