This workshop is for ages 10 and up. The goal of 317's Monthly Digital Music Workshops is to provide a supportive environment for students to grow and learn about electronic music production. Students will learn how to record audio, record midi and use midi controllers, sampling, basic sound design, and song arrangement. If students have devices such as laptops, tablets, midi controllers, or other sound generating devices they are welcome to bring them to incorporate into the music. While learning about technology a main focus will be on the music creation, aiming to walk away from the class with recorded music they created in the lab. Workshop led by 317 Main TA Sean Grear.
